What happens during and after the trial?
Every new organization gets the Pro plan free for 30 days — no credit card up front. When the trial ends you pick a plan; your data stays put either way.
What counts as a site?
One kitchen or service location — a community's kitchen, a hospital's food service, a dining hall, a café, a commissary. Plans meter sites and paired board devices, never people.
Are staff accounts really unlimited?
Yes, on every plan. Cooks, servers, dietitians, managers — invite everyone. Per-seat pricing punishes hourly teams, so we don't do it.
How does the AI allowance work?
AI features (recipe import, quote drafting, huddle briefs, recommendations) draw from a monthly platform token pool per plan — 200k on Starter, 2M on Pro, 10M on Enterprise. Every call is metered and auditable. Enterprise orgs can bring their own AI key instead. And every feature has a manual path, so nothing breaks with AI off.
Do the mobile apps cost extra?
No. The offline-first staff app and the diner app are part of the platform on every plan.
What about boards and wallboards?
Any TV, tablet, or spare screen with a browser can be paired as a board — Starter includes 2 paired devices, Pro 100, Enterprise 1,000. No proprietary hardware.
Is there an API?
Yes — org API keys, HMAC-signed webhooks, and an HL7 ADT ingest endpoint are available on Pro and Enterprise. See the API reference.
How do upgrades and billing work?
Upgrade from the Billing & plan page inside the app, or talk to us for Enterprise and operator deployments. There's no self-serve card checkout today — we invoice.
